As a Professional Organizer, I strive to meet and exceed my client's hopes and goals for their space. I've had the honor of helping so many folks through various transitions in their lives, including all stages of moving. I am a firm believer that small changes can make a tremendous impact in the sale of your home and take a creative and practical approach when providing suggestions to my clients. I fully understand the many emotional and financial stresses that are placed on a family during this process, so I am very mindful and respectful of your time and resources when making staging suggestions.

Before your move, I can help you:

  • De-clutter, purge, and donate unwanted items before a move so that you won't be paying to move them.
  • Pack and label your things in a way that will make unpacking a breeze!
  • Plan which items to bring into your new space. This is particularly helpful when downsizing.
  • Highlight the true beauty and possibilities of your home to potential buyers, oftentimes simply by de-cluttering, rearranging furniture, and highlighting great storage potential.

I can provide a written report with recommendations for you to implement on your own, or I can assist in the process. It's your call!

On Moving day and afterwards, I can:

  • Help coordinate with your movers in the event that you or your loved one cannot be there that day.
  • Assist you in the unpacking process and set up organized systems so you can get off to a good start in your new space.
  • Help you plan and set up your rooms, and help you come up with creative solutions for your unique spaces and needs.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated with interior spaces and can't sit in a room without somehow considering the possibilities of that space. I've always had that "knack" for looking at a space and knowing how to make it function better. After years of helping friends and family to define and refine their spaces, I made the jump into organizing as a full time profession.

Before becoming a professional organizer, I spent 20 years as a technical communicator, documenting software applications and designing curriculum for various industries. Prior to that, I trained as a High School English teacher and worked as an accounting professional for several years. I love that Organizing and Staging allow me to combine and utilize so many aspects from my personal and professional life and pull it all together into something I am incredibly passionate about!

I grew up in the area and have been a resident of Westwood for the past 18 years. I am a proud parent of two teens and enjoy being active in the community through various organizations such as girl scouts and volunteering at the Food Pantry and schools in town.

I earned a Graduate certificate in Technical Communications from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English (with a minor in Secondary Education) from Bridgewater State University.

I am a proud member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), a board member of the NAPO - New England Chapter, and a member of ICD (Institute for Challenging Disorganization). I am always taking new professional development classes and reading up on organizing principles and approaches. I look forward to working with you! I learn something new with each and every client.
